At Expo West 2026, Human Touch highlighted that wellness is about more than diet and exercise—it’s also about how we care for our bodies every day. In a conversation with Kevin Lee, a company representative explained that while Human Touch is known for its massage chairs, the brand sees itself as part of a broader movement toward natural, holistic self-care. Founded in 1979, the company designs and engineers its chairs in Long Beach, California, drawing on a team of robotic engineers, designers, and professional athletes. Each model is developed over years, reflecting a careful understanding of how the body moves, works, and recovers.

What sets Human Touch apart is its belief that wellness should be a practical daily ritual rather than a luxury. Their chairs are built for a wide range of people, from teenage athletes to 80-year-old grandparents, as well as professionals who spend long hours on their feet—construction workers, nurses, doctors, and more. Instead of relying solely on painkillers or living with discomfort, Human Touch encourages people to “go natural” by incorporating therapeutic massage into their routines. Their mission is to help customers “close the medicine cabinet” by offering real relief through thoughtful design and technology, turning a simple chair into a powerful tool for everyday wellness.
