AT&T’s “cutting edge” spam unsubscribe process

Sometimes big entities can get away with SPAM. AND continue to use completely customer-unfriendly systems and processes.

It’s embarrassing.  Sorry, HEY, AT&T invest a few hundred coder hours to do things right if you insist on sending SPAM.

Below the screengrab is an unsolicited email I got from an AT&T rep (the second in an automated SPAM where the original was below the followup)

What’s wrong with the unsubscribe? It forces me to re-enter my email address. Pass my hashed identity into the unsubscribe page an AUTO unsubscribe me.

att spamNote that it’s likely they haven’t touched this HORRID user experience since 2016!! Look at the Copyright date. AND it isn’t mobile – friendly, from AT&T OMG!
