January
25, 2002 - (LOS ANGELES, CA) - The eMarketing Association (eMA) today
announced the addition of a new level to it's Certified eMarketing

for high school and college students in eMarketing, debuted in Utah
public schools last year in September. CeMA level 2 is designed for
college students and marketing professionals.
Robert
Fleming, President of the eMarketing Association said, "This
is a significant event in eMarketing. There are over 350 technical
certifications available in many of our nation's colleges, yet virtually
none in e-marketing. The eMA is the also accreditation body for the
Certified eMarketer (CeM) program for working professionals with experience
in Internet marketing. The CeM program is recognized around the world
as a significant marketing credential.
The CeMA
program involves students taking an examination, which covers current
aspects of e-marketing and online/offline marketing integration. Robert
Fleming, president of the eMA said, "There is a significant increase
in companies marketing via the Internet, and multi-channel but relatively
few students are graduating with these essential competencies. Level
two is significantly advanced over level one certification and recognizes
the skills and competencies necessary to compete in today's digital
environment."
