In response to new federal legislation the eMarketing Association
has added a new session to it's annual Conference the Power of eMarketing
on March 9th and 10th. Membership is not required to attend.
PROVIDENCE,
RI (PRWEB) JANUARY 8 2004--The eMarketing Association (eMA) today
announced the addition of a special session on the new CAN SPAM law
at it's annual conference. The law which took effect on January 1,
requires marketers to include physical addresses in certain commercial
email, a method to opt out, a relevant subject line and other mandatory
information. Jail time is provided within the new legislation for
certain violations.
This
critical session is of significant importance to anyone who is conducting
marketing on the Internet. Membership in the eMA is not required to
attend the conference. Conference sponsors and speakers include Yahoo!,
Microsoft, SilverPOP, FindWhat.com, and others.
The Third
Annual Power of eMarketing Conference focuses on relevant interactive
