launching second-generation wireless applications via the BREW platform
for Verizon Wireless.
Prior to
joining Verizon in 2001, Chow was senior manager of wireless Internet
technology alliances for Nortel Networks. He joined the Nortel team
in 1986 as a financial analyst and held positions of increasing responsibility
in various areas on Nortel.
Chow earned
a Master of Business Administration from Dalhousie University in Halifax,
Canada, and Bachelor of Business Administration in computer science
and finance from Wilfrid Laurie University in Waterloo, Canada. He holds
a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation from Calgary and
was awarded a gold award in Business Case Competition.
