Chris
Baggott, Co-Founder

Chris
is responsible for leading the ExactTarget sales organization.
Through first-hand experience, he has learned what it takes
to successfully sell web-based email marketing software. Chris
brings a unique blend of corporate marketing and entrepreneurial
experience. Prior to founding ExactTarget, Chris served as
CEO and President of Twyford Group - owners of dry cleaning
businesses in the Indianapolis area.
Through
this experience, Chris developed a thorough understanding
of the marketing challenges associated with owning a retail
business. Prior to Twyford Group, Chris was Marketing Manager
for RR Donnelley's catalog business. He is widely recognized
as an expert in Database Marketing. Prior to RR Donnelley,
he spent five years with Abbott Labs where he consistently
was the leading Sales Executive and Sales Manager for their
Diagnostics Division.


James W. Barker

As
the President of Transcendigital LTD, a digital marketing
agency based in Avon, Connecticut, Jim has spent the last
20 years in the communications, advertising, and technology
industries.
He
first became involved with digital communications in 1979.
Most recently Jim served as Vice President of Online Customer
Development Services for Outrider North America, a Tempus
Group Company (London). There he and his team specialized
in building relationships with prospects and customers through
digital marketing technologies.
Prior
to that, Jim founded and served as Creative Director at Central
Oregon's first hybrid traditional/online advertising agency.
As the Senior Partner, Jim worked in multiple capacities:
copywriter, art director, and communications consultant for
large and small companies in the Northwest region and throughout
the U.S.
In
the 1980's he worked in communications technology for the
United States Navy doing concept origination, system level
design and project management for multiple communication systems
- receiving several letters of Commendation for performance
and excellence. This experience, coupled with marketing and
advertising know-how, has created a deep understanding of
the online arena - enabling him to see patterns within business
systems, and its customer relationships, that others tend
to miss.
What
makes Jim a valuable leader for Transcendigital is his vast
experience and expertise in managing his teams to meet stated
objectives. In addition to his practical management experience,
his historical understanding of HTML, C++, Cobol, and Fortran,
coupled with extensive expertise in systems integration planning,
has given him the unique ability to speak to both programmers
and marketing project visionaries together - delivering all
projects on time and on budget.
Jim's
focus remains on integrating the ever-increasing human expectations
into a technological experience. He continues in groundbreaking
efforts that have facilitated his growing recognition as a
leading evangelist within the digital marketing arena and

June Bower
Vice President of Corporate Marketing

June
Bower is responsible for Openwave's marketing strategy, communications
and corporate intelligence. Bower brings to Openwave 20 years
of experience spanning product marketing, branding, and corporate
communications in the telecommunications industry. Before
joining Openwave in 2001, Bower was a marketing partner at
Lightspeed Venture Partners where she consulted with startup
companies, including several wireless data startups, on the
creation of their comprehensive marketing plans.
Prior to Lightspeed, Bower served as senior director of corporate
communications for Cisco Systems and was responsible for corporate
marketing strategy, worldwide public relations, market research,
and corporate marketing programs. Bower has also held increasingly
responsible marketing management positions at 3Com, Octel
Communications Corporation, and Adobe Systems.
Bower holds a B.A from Stanford University and an MBA from
Pepperdine University in California

Sean
Carton is an author, speaker, futurist, and long-time veteran
of the e-biz world. In 1993 Sean co-authored the best-selling
Mosiac Quick Tour series for Ventana Press with Gareth Branwyn,
contributing editor of Wired . The Mosaic Quick Tour was one
of the first books to focus exclusively on the World Wide
Web. In 1995, Sean went on to write the Internet Virtual Worlds
Quick Tour, one of the first books about virtual communities.
In 1996, Sean published the 1184 page uber-tome Internet Power
Toolkit. Sean's most recent book, Dot Bomb, chronicles the
dot.com implosion, detailing reasons why so many previously
high-flying companies died building on those lessons to show
how technology companies can thrive in the current downturn.
In
1996 Sean also got into the e-business world by founding Carton
Donofrio Interactive (CDI), a Web and multimedia design company
with Chuck Donofrio, CEO and managing partner of Carton Donofrio
Partners.
Since
its humble beginnings (basically Sean and an intern) CDI has
grown to become a several million dollar company serving Fortune
500 clients such as Rubbermaid, Armstrong, Pfizer, Air Products
& Chemicals, as well as industrial powerhouses such as
W.L. Gore and Associates (makers of GoreTex), Sylvan Learning
Systems, Caliber, and Ineos. CDI has constructed e-business
solutions for many successful dot-com start-ups including
Annuitynet.com, AssociationCentral.com, Realtor.com, Lightningcast,
and NetExpress Bank. In addition, CDI is one of the leading
providers of Web development and consulting services in higher
education, with clients such as Johns Hopkins University,
University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, Goucher College,
and Open University (UK).
CDI
has recently expanded into new markets with the launch of
Unplugged Interactive, a wireless content and application
development company. In 1999, Carton Donofrio Partners founded
the Context-based Research Group, a global ethnographic research
company.
In
his spare time, Sean lives a shadow life as an active journalist
by frequently contributing to Wired, Green, P.O.V., Media
Magazine, and Revolution magazines. He also writes a weekly
column on new technology and trends called "The Leading
Edge" on ClickZ, the Net's premiere New Economy marketing
magazine. He also publishes Cool Tool of the Day, a daily
software review Web site and is a semi-frequent contributor
and is the co-owner of StreetTech, a consumer electronics
and gadget review site. In 1993, Sean coined the term "ego
surfing" which was added to the Oxford English Dictionary
in 1999.

develops web experiences and integrated marketing campaigns
for clients in the retail/CPG space, including Garnier-Maybelline,
BMG Direct, Kodak, and Ann Taylor. She creates strategically
driven solutions that draw upon her experience in a wide range
of disciplines, including branding, marketing, web design,
print design, and merchandising.
Prior to joining Avenue A/Razorfish, Susan was a VP/Creative
Director at the Interactive Bureau (now circle.com), where
she was responsible for building the company's brand identity
practice that included clients like Univision and Sotheby's.
Susan joined IAB after successfully running her own design
studio for four years in New York and Los Angeles, where she
worked with clients such as Estee Lauder, Martha Stewart,
Paramount Pictures, and Tommy Hilfiger.


Patricia
Neuray
Vice President Eastern Sales
Overture
Patricia
Neuray, Vice President Eastern Sales, joined Overture in January
2002 and is responsible for Overture's direct sales efforts
for all search products in the Eastern and Midwestern regions
of the United States as well as Eastern Canada. Currently,
Overture's products include paid placement, paid inclusion,
contextual advertising and campaign performance tools.
Prior
to Overture, Patricia was vice president of sales at LookSmart,
where she was responsible for overseeing the Eastern and Midwestern
regional sales efforts for paid inclusion and all other ad
products. Before she began her career in the Internet, Patricia
worked for Imagine Media where she was a publisher of one
of their technology magazines. She also worked in marketing
for other print publications such as Newsweek and BusinessWeek.
Patricia holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University
of Florida.

Bill
Tancer is the Vice President of Research at Hitwise. Bill
brings 10+ years of market research experience to Hitwise.
Prior to joining Hitwise, Bill has led market research and
strategy teams at LookSmart, Zaplet, NBC Internet and Pacific
Bell Internet Services. Bill has also covered the Internet
sector for Gartner Group as a senior technology marketplace
consultant.
Bill
has a Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Florida
in Quantitative Management and a Juris Doctorate degree from
the Walter F. George School of Law, Mercer University.
